The Special Arribada Turtle Tour at Ostional National Park offers a rare opportunity to witness one of nature’s most extraordinary events. During an arribada, massive numbers of Olive Ridley sea turtles arrive simultaneously to nest along the beach. This phenomenon only occurs for approximately five days each month and cannot be predicted in advance. To participate, guests must join our waitlist. Once our local guides living in Ostional confirm that turtle activity has begun, we will immediately contact you to confirm availability. Tours are conducted with strict respect for wildlife and national park regulations. Depending on the selected time slot, the experience may take place in the evening or during the early morning hours. Group size minimums apply for operation.
